Hemisphere sponsored athlete Tim Tszyu
After a shocking knock down in Round 1, Tszyu recovered and gained momentum, arguably dominating the remainder of the 12 round fight. Gausha spent much of the fight up against the ropes with Tszyu landing several heavy hits on the former Olympian throughout the match in chilly Minnesota. In a unanimous decision, the judges awarded the match to Tszyu albeit amongst some controversy about the scores. Tim maintains his winning streak with an impressive 21 wins, 0 losses record. Tszyu currently holds the No. 1 WBO super-welterweight ranking and is in line for the unified titles after Brian Castano and Jermell Charlo have their rematch on Saturday, May 14.
Last month Gold Coast personality Bec DeGenaar caught up with Tim for a relaxed chat about his plans for 2022, the gratitude for his sponsors and his love of the Gold Coast.
